Bachelor of Science in Nursing

One hallmark of the BSN program is that there is no testing of prior nursing knowledge if the RN is in good standing within the state of practice. The BSN program is designed to develop the professional knowledge and skills of working registered nurses.

The curriculum incorporated in our online nursing degrees is built on a foundation of the biological, physical, and social sciences that contribute to the science of nursing. The liberal arts components enhance the development of the intellectual, social, and cultural aspects of the professional nurse.

The program enhances the foundation in the biological, physical, and social sciences through an instructional program with behavioral objectives that concentrate on the development of the nurse's role as caregiver, teacher, and manager of care. Utilizing a self-care framework, working registered nurses are prepared as generalists who are able to apply professional skills and knowledge to nursing, clients, and health care systems.

Master of Science in Nursing

The MSN program, one of the premier nursing master degree programs online, is designed to develop and enhance the knowledge and skills of registered nurses. It is also designed for those nurses who want to pursue more advanced positions in today's challenging health care environment. The nursing master degree program blends nursing theory with advanced practice concepts necessary to successfully work within the structure, culture, and mission of any size health care organization or educational setting.

Students complete core courses in advanced nursing content and process, as well as on leadership skills. Specializations assist students to concentrate on developing increased knowledge and/or skills in a specific area of content or advanced practice role.

The Master of Science in Nursing/MBA in Health Care Management (MSN/MBA/HCM)

The MSN/MBA/HCM combines essentials from the MSN with the MBA/HCM to provide the knowledge and skills necessary to enhance and support patient services. The dual degree provides nurses with a unique blend of advanced nursing and business management skills needed to manage today's innovative health care delivery systems.

Master of Science in Nursing - Nursing/Health Care Education (MSN/ED)

The MSN/ED is designed for nursing and health care professionals interested in pursuing or advancing in careers as faculty in higher educational settings. Those with no background in higher education receive a strong foundation for the many dimensions of the faculty role. Current educators can update or expand their knowledge in curriculum development, assessment and evaluation, and instructional strategies.

Master of Science in Nursing - Integrative Health Care (MSN/IH)

The MSN/IH course series focuses on Integrative health care, a synthesis or blend of conventional care with alternative and complementary healing therapies. Those with little or some knowledge in the field can learn more about the background and current status of integrative care, as well as health policy, legal, regulatory, and ethical issues. An overview of commonly used alternative and complementary healing therapies provides a strong foundation for continued learning. Participants develop a proposal for an integrative health care project or course, based on their current or future work setting.

Master of Science in Nursing and Master of Health Administration (MSN/MHA)

The MSN/MHA program is designed to provide nurses with a unique blend of advanced nursing and healthcare related business skills to manage in today's evolving health care delivery systems. The program combines essential elements from both degree programs to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively examine and evaluate issues and trends impacting health care.
