Welcome to the College of Health and Human Services. We offer undergraduate and graduate degree programs in a number of diverse academic areas including nursing, health care, criminal justice and security, counseling, and human services. In addition, the college offers several certificate programs in a variety of disciplines.

The College provides innovative educational programs designed to enhance the core knowledge, skills and values essential for students seeking to achieve their academic goals in the health and human services fields. These programs are developed and taught by skilled practitioners who work in their respective fields. Through individual and collaborative work, you can acquire the knowledge and skills needed in today's working environment.

CounselingCounseling

Our Master of Science in Counseling program, available only at specific locations, offers specializations in community counseling, mental health counseling, school counseling, as well as marriage, family and child therapy.

Criminal Justice and Security

Criminal justice and organizational security are vital issues in today’s world. University of Phoenix offers undergraduate- and graduate-level programs in these important areas. The programs emphasize the practical application of current theories to real-world situations that are encountered in the field.

Health CareHealth Care

Gain the skills and knowledge needed in health-related settings with our Bachelor of Science in Health Administration program. You can even focus on health information systems or long-term care. Prepare to lead in the dynamic health care industry with our Master of Health Administration program. Specializations are available in geriatrics, health care education or informatics.

Human ServicesHuman Services

With our bachelor's degree programs, you'll receive a solid foundation in behavioral and social theory. You'll also gain the skills needed for effective delivery of professional client services or management of human services organizations.

NursingNursing

If you're a registered nurse with your associate's degree or diploma in nursing, you can earn your undergraduate nursing degree conveniently and efficiently. Similarly, LPNs or LVNs can advance to a baccalaureate degree in nursing in one of our approved states. Bachelor of Science in Nursing graduates may advance their education with our Master of Science in Nursing program, which offers teaching and other specializations.
