Health and Human Services funds that support nursing education.
To increase the number of nurses with advanced degrees and to help improve the
quality of care for elderly patients, The Department of Health and Human
Services has released over $30 million in grants. $22 million will go to
colleges, universities, and other organizations, while the remaining $8 million
will be dispersed through the Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program, which
provides loan repayment to nurses who agree to work in critical nursing
shortage areas. Talk to your Financial Advisor for more information.
